BESTER Family Red is a Cinsault/Shiraz/Grenache Noir blend.
The upfront red fruit flavours of the Cinsault are supported by strong pepper and spice notes from the Shiraz, while the Grenache Noir gives more structure, enhanced by subtle wood nuances from the time spent in the barrels. These delicately layered flavours all follow through on the elegant palate, balanced by a crisp acidity to ensure a fruit-driven wine with plenty of ageing potential.
Serve lightly chilled during the hot summer months (14-16°C), and slightly below room temperature in winter. This wine is exceptionally food-friendly, enhancing food flavours without masking them. Enjoy with creamy pasta dishes, pizza, and spicy casseroles. It also pairs well with grilled meats and vegetables.

BESTER Chenin Blanc offers uncomplicated quality for the connoisseur and novice alike. Packed with upfront tropical fruit, the bouquet charms with an abundance of lime, grapefruit, and white pear, followed by lingering wildflower aromas. These full fruit flavours follow through onto the palate, balanced by a crisp acidity and striking minerality. A fresh vintage with plenty of maturation potential.
Bester Chenin Blanc is the perfect wine to enjoy with summer food or as an aperitif on its own. Also pairs well with mild curries or spicy food. Serve well chilled.

Bester Family Wines are made with passion and care in the Riebeek Valley, where Zakkie produces premium wines from W.O. Swartland grapes that are hand-selected from only the best vineyards.

Zakkie and his wife Sandra live in Riebeek Kasteel, with outposts in Dublin, Cape Town, and Malmesbury, where their children design roads and bridges, dictate fashion trends, and fix people's spelling mistakes respectively. The clan has also acquired two strapping sons-in-law, a lovely daughter-in-law, and no less than four granddaughters in recent years.
